Our Mission
Our mission is to provide access to educational opportunities for girls through the following activities:
- Supporting families in target communities to encourage girls from 9-21 years old to attend and stay at school and providing financial assistance for tuition, school supplies, classroom furniture, and uniforms
- Supporting female students with feminine hygiene kits to avoid them missing school for days

Founder/President Diane (photo center), the energetic mother of 5 girls, started GirlZinCharge.
Co-founders Liz (Secretary/NGO wizard) and Nicolas (Treasurer/bean counter) enthusiastically follow her lead.
What we do is simple: we help more girls stay in school and get an education. We are motivated to act now, otherwise more girls will end up in early marriages or worse.
